About 2 weeks ago I had them on my right outer thigh. It began with ONE. Within a few days there were about 17 or so. Quite itchy.
Then they gradually went.
A few days ago I got one itchy bump on my right baby finger near hand/knuckle. Yesterday another near base of another finger, now a couple more today. Quite itchy.
I'm using Benedryl cream. I also have pills from a couple of years ago when I got them all over my body really badly.
But I guess the main thing is I'm wondering what they're from.
The only thing I can think of is that over the past few weeks - maybe a month, I've been eating a lot of cashews & almonds (as part of my ongoing goal to gain some weight). I was 110 pounds (5'5" - NOT enough). My doctor suggested some ideas - nuts were one. So I'm going to stop nuts altogether for now & see what happens.
I'm up to 116 - so I'm doing quite well in that regard.
I was reading about them & got all freaked out since it says you can get them internally also & they can affect your breathing & cause an asthma-like attack. So DEEP breaths & controlling my thoughts!!! I can 'awfulize' SO easily. But I'm doing pretty well.
Just took some vitamin C & Quercitin & B12, which my book also said were good.
Sigh. Nice to be worrying about ME instead of about my son!!! :-)

Hi, consider contact dermatitis. At least rule it out. Usually caused by unwashed new clothes or any clothes not rinsed thoroughly. I rinse stuff 3 times. Fabric softeners can be a problem too.
After that: I think: pets and other allergens. I broke out on my thigh when I sat in cat urine once. (wasn't obvious at the time)
I don't even understand why people have cats. The average cat owner is a vegetarian yet cats are vicious carnivores.
Don't get it.
love vegetarians and vegetarian pets

Thx for the ideas. I use perfume-free laundry soap (as well as scent-free products in general). I don't use fabric softener. But those are good suggestions. Yucky - sitting in cat pee!!
I lUUUUUUV cats! Why do I? Hm - I dunno - partly 'cuz they're quite independent & I LOVE when they purr.
