Whoa, there's a windstorm in California

Posted by Cass on April 14, 2009, at 22:09:23

This weather suits my mood. It's cold and tumultous. That's what I want right now. I'm cooking soup, drinking wine and fighting off self-destructive feelings. I miss my husband. I feel so lonely without him. I loved him. He loved me. I want him back. I just want to scream. Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhhhh, Cass. I know what you mean. It is too hot here for soup but the wine sounds great.

Sometimes when we're alone it is hard for us to remember to take care of ourselves. I'm glad that you're doing this tonight. Be careful with that wind.......Pat

Thanks, Pat. I listened to some Joan Baez for awhile, too. Dear God, her voice was beautiful. Have you ever heard her rendition of Plasir D'amour? It's on youtube,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdHoXRNdLKk

Wow, to have loved someone who loved you back - I've never known that. I hope you don't mind if I say how lucky you are. I hope your pain eases with time. I hope I worded this right.

Yes, I love that. Her voice is so pure. I love Bob Dylan. I've always been fascinated by their time together. They seem opposites but in the 60s it was a different story.

This link is for The McGarrigle Sisters. French Canadians. I discovered them, quite by accident, in the middle 70s. My children (in their 40s) still play lots of the music that we listened to when they were little. I am pleased.

I hope you enjoy them. Pat
