...sorry I've been missing lately. Its a combination of being tired from the new job, and my computer still being on the floor (the new computer desk is still in a box - you all know how I procrastinate!). Its really awkward to read posts and even more so to type back a response! As for the job, its going well, but sometimes its hard since in some ways I'm learning a whole new profession. I went from production to prepress as a graphic designer (which I realize doesn't mean much to most of you). In some ways the two jobs are similar, but in other ways they are very, very different. So the stress of trying to learn this new stuff, along with the regular stress from just dealing with a new job, has had me pretty exhausted. Funny how mental stress can tire you out physically. But despite a few ups and downs, which is to be expected, it seems to be going very well.

So, all that being said, once I get my desk put together, and as I get more comfortable at work, I should be back here more often.

I hope everyone is doing well! I'll try to read some posts now!

I'm glad to hear you're ok!! I was worried.

I hate change, so I empathize with the job difficulties. I also get really really tired from emotional stress. But from what you said earlier, it sounds like a really good company to do your learning at?

Its good to hear I'm not the only one who gets physically tired from mental stress. I'm sorry I worried you!

Yes, it does seem to be a good place to learn. There's been a few irritations here and there, mainly just learning to navigate around my two bosses personalities, but I guess that's normal. No place is perfect (and I've had so-o-o much worse!!!). Overall its a really good place and a really good opportunity for me.

Glad to hear from you TC :-))

I do know about procrastination! After a move and during experiencing a new job & learning a 'new' job, unpacking & putting together a desk would seem an insurmountable project for me.

I'm glad you're basically okay.

Yeah - I can get tired from mental stress also, but lately, it seems I get sick instead. Sorta 'flu-type' sick. :-(((

So nice to see you here.

Hugs, Kath
