Happy Birthday Dinah!
I love sharing my birthday weekend with you! I hope you had a great session and shared some of those special meeting of the minds moments.
And of course, ate your favorite dinner with your favorite dessert and your son made you a homemade birthday card.
Love, ANNIE

With only a bit of my birthday to go, I'm going to knock wood and say it was a very nice day. I seem to have avoided the birthday curse this year. :)
No therapy, but my son did make me a very ingenious "card", which I'm going to put on my desk to remember how very lucky I am.
And yesterday my husband and son took me out to dinner at my favorite restaurant. Mmmmm.....

A bit off topic, but were they not supercool?
What a nice birthday bonus. I kept swearing they couldn't possibly be natural phenomenon, and must be very slow planes. :)

Yes, Dinah, they formed an angled smiley face here, with the crescent moon below.
Happy Birthday

Ah drat. I must have seen them later in the night (or our night anyway). I'd have liked to see a smiley face.

I'm not sure that it was going to happen in the northern hemisphere.

I think I like that way of thinking about it. It's so much more adventurous than creeping closer and closer to the half century mark.
I know that shouldn't bother me, but it does. I have some vague feeling that once I'm fifty, people will expect me to be mature. My therapist smiles and tells me that I should realize that maturity has nothing to do with age.
Fifty trips around the sun seems much nicer.

There was an article about it here, but they never mentioned a smiley face so you must be right.
Come to think of it, they seemed to be below and to the right of the moon, so wherever it was in the sky, where I was, the stars would be on the wrong side of the crescent to make a smiley face.
I'm sure I have seen something so bright in the sky before. But I don't remember having seen it.
I should learn more about those things. Spatial manipulation isn't my strong suit. I've always wanted to get a realistically spinning day/night globe. Now I'm thinking I need one of those things in a planetarium, with rotating moon and night skies. :)
This is the end of the thread.
