We've been lucky down here Pat.
There have been storms but not like in Brisbane, which must have been wild.

There was a hail storm a while back and my car had its windscreen smashed and the whole area looked like it had been through the shredder, shredded green everywhere amongst the hail.

I'm grateful that you haven't been hit like Brisbane. How is recovery going there?

It's terrible, because last night's was the second storm.

The first destroyed 30 homes, 300,000 are without power and many thousands seriously damaged.

And then the second storm hit, with a third expected tonight.

I'm driving up that way this morning, and I'm not sure if the roads will be open.

(((((Sigi)))))
I hope that your trees remain healthy and leaved, and that you don't have to get your chainsaw out. :(

((((((trees)))))))

(((((windshields))))))

(((((((((homes)))))))))

thanks fayeroe for letting us know about this. I've been somewhat preoccupied over here...

Hi Sigi,

How big were the hailstones????? Golf ball size - sounds like.

Weren't you once saying something about cutting some trees back a bit so you could see the ocean?
Maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe you should retract that desire!! :-)

luv, & keep safe, Kath
