today: cigarettes. Surprized I didn't cheat even once. No meds since February 2008--so February 2009=another milestone. Ice cream and chocolate will have to wait----not that strong yet.

and if no meds is working for you then hurrah for you kind man! = )
Really proud of the no ciggie thing as that was major contributor to heart disease which killed both parents far too early. Anyone who finally makes that hard choice to fight the brutal addiction of nicotine has our utmost admiration and support.

What I've always known subconsciously ----but now with increasing clarity in my old age--is that it's much much easier to actually quit something than to "decide to quit" it. I'm proud--but humbled by the fact that the wolf is always at the door. Thank you all for the support--it's a real booster.

Hey Bobby - I'm 61 & I'm not old (LOL - boy do I feel old sometimes!!) I don't think of myself as old anyhow. If I'm not bogged down by a lot of worries & stress, I feel in my late 30's!!
And then I happen to see myself in the mirror & get a shocker! :-)
Hugs, Kath
