Feeling a bit better - Phillipa - ps Son got job

Posted by Kath on October 27, 2008, at 20:10:57

Not sure how it will go. He got a job at 'sub' place. Same chain as before (where he was fired 'due to health reasons' - I think it was 'cuz he was really tired & sorta out of it...which I suspect was due to getting over being sick, having the new schedule of a part-time job & continuing to live 'his normal' way of staying up late, etc...even though his shifts were at 5 pm

Anyway Phillipa, unfortunately a lot of how I feel seems to depend on how he's doing!

I am feeling a little sick physically - tired & a bit of scratchy throat & low energy.

Not quite as depressed sometimes.

We're going forward trying to help son get out of rental agreement. 99% chance that basement apartment is an 'illegal' one, so he might be able to get out of it. It is such a relief to think that he won't be living there...it REALLY stinks!! What we've tried hasn't helped much at all.

So, I just read another post from you about marriages, etc on psychology board I think. I am so sad about how your life is hun.

(((((((you))))))))

luv, Kath

Kath well I'm glad about the apartment. Hope he does keep the job. And sorry you're starting to feel sick. Cold there? Besides the marriage now My Son won't speak to me because I sent my Grandson a Hat for his BD and my Grandson contacted me via facebook said he didn't have it contacted my Son e-mail and asked why not he said he never wants anything to do with me again for taking his side. Shouldn't I have asked for clarification why from My Son since sent to his house. Love Phillipa

Hi Phillipa,

Not too cold here yet.

So sorry about your son.

I'm not clear on what happened. The part I get is that you sent your G-son a hat & spoke to G-son on facebook?

Did G-son say on facebook that he hadn't received hat? Did you send the hat to Son's house & contacted Son to see if hat arrived?

Jeez - I don't see why Grandmother can't send g-son a hat. It doesn't necessarily mean anything except that you love him & are sending him a gift.

Seems to me Son is equating the gift with you approving of your G-son's behaviours that you might actually NOT even agree with.

Have I got it right?

luv you, Kath
