My wonderful bunderful cat Ginger!!!

He was a stray - about 3 years in October, I put a cardboard box with a cosy blanket & towel door on the front porch for our cat who spent a LOT of time outdoors. Next day, there's an orange fluffy cat in it. He seemed friendly, but I didn't want to feed him & lure him away from his real home. He would go away for a while but always ended up back on the porch. I would pat him & he liked it a LOT.

After a few days, I checked in the middle of the night (when I got up to pee) & there he still was. I came back in & started to cry & broke down & gave food. Next day I put up signs, called the Humane Society etc. but nobody came forward.

Sooooo - by the way - each time I'd feed him, he'd just brush up against my hand first & want patting, THEN eat.

Bottom line, we adopted him & LOVE HIM TO PIECES.

sigh.

Kath
