I'm scared they'll say that my son isn't suitable to attend.
I'm also scared they'll say he IS accepted & he'll 'backpedal'.
So, if I use my advice to Michael in a previous post, I guess I'll use this mantra:
I love it that my son is accepted into rehab & gladly attends!!!!
LOL - OKay - I'm actually going to try to calm myself by saying this any time I start to feel edgy!! The decision meeting is tomorrow morning, so maybe if I create those vibes, they'll affect what actually happens.
I haven't read The Secret, & I know the 'law of attraction' thing is 'in' right now. I bought a book called The Law of Attraction by Michael J. Losier.
It's pretty inspiring. I actually haven't opened it since the end of June, when I got back from camping & my son was here.
During my camping trip, I was doing the positive mental talk thing. One of the things I was saying was about my son moving forward in a positive direction in his life. When I got home, he was talking rehab. Don't know if that was a coincidence!
Any comments on 'creating our own reality' type stuff?

Kath seriously I think you are a very loving, caring person who is doing very well with coping. I wish you much luck and your Son tomorrow. It's all or nothing with him if the word it go now he goes. Please let me know what happens? love Phillipa

Yup - I'll let you know Phillipa.
Yeah - if they say 'yes', his choices are:
- go as soon as they can admit you
or
- 'If you're choosing not to accept the excellent help that's available to you FREE of charge, we love you too much to support you in continuing your life the way you are now. The first thing is that you have to find somewhere else to live, preferably with the help of your mental health worker.' or something like that.
I am pretty darned nervous right now. Stomach tight, naggy worried feeling. I'm NOT doing well with the good-old-positive affirmations. But I do keep saying them when I think of it.
