I don't know why. I just feel disillusioned and uninterested in everything tonight. Scared of life. Scared of never reaching my goals or finding love. Feeling like even if I did reach all the my goals, I would still be unhappy.
These feelings always go away, but the funny thing is that while they're happening it feels like it's impossible for them to ever go away. I'm fine and I'm not panicking, I'm just "meh"-depressed. I'm sure it will go away. And I'm sure it will come back.
Life in general just baffles me. What a strange place.

Michael83, I completely understand when you say that it is a temporary feeling but when it's there it feels like it will never go away. I've felt that way too. I hope u are feeling better today.

Michael I hope you feel better today too. And boy do I know what you mean. Seems like the more I learn the more there is to be depressed about. Medical problems mine and others and things happening in the news. Well let's try and get up today if you know what I mean. Love Phillipa

I understand too. I think only someone who's experienced depression knows what that's like.
Whenever my brother is on a bipolar downswing that's the thing I try to stress to him, how it always feels like it will never go away but it always does. I don't know if it helps at the time, but it seems like the important thing to me.

I felt better the next morning.
A little down tonight, but I'm going to go for a quick drive, that always helps. I love driving around.

Hello, I'm feeling much better now.
I'm in the city. I'm a much more city person. I get terrified when in rural areas at night. It's just way too dark. It's black everywhere, sometimes with no street lights. Reminds me of alien abductions or something. I need to be near light and street corners.
SOme times it saddens me because the city I live in isn't big enough (it has around a million people) because I've seen so much of it, I run out of new places to explore.
I think though if I lived in a more scenic area of the country (I live in the Midwest), it would be nicer to drive around in the country. In the rural Upper Midwest, it's mostly poverty and cornfields. I bet it would be nice to drive around in some places in the Northeast or West Coast.
