Hope

Posted by Declan on January 28, 2007, at 15:36:19

One of thie nice things about tea is the promise of hope on the labels. Consider this...

'Tukuanyin is a famous category of China Oolong tea. It possesses clearly mild aroma, softly sweet delicacy, brilliant in colour, durable in pouring water. Its remarkable effect in arousing spirit, relieving fatigue, quenching thirst, dispersing heat, helping digestion and cleansing the bowels. It is adapted to serve after feast, dinner party, and meals. While in the morning, familiar chatting talks; a cup in hand will have to get more sentimental delightfulness, refreshment, and pleasurable occasion. As Tikuanyin is surely an exclusive character, so people of homeland as well as abroad like it much.'

Almost as good as travelling...makes you feel part of the human race.

Declan, so happy to know that I'm not the only tea tourist...

I'll let you know about the mate, mate.

I don't have my gourd and bombilla with me, but I believe I've still got some yummy peppermint in the cupboard.

see that dang ellipsis again?!?!

There is no cure for hope, or ellipses.

We had some over Christmas.
You know how unfunny the crackers are (they must really work on it....maybe somewhere there are good crackers for the rich?).

The first cookie I got said something like 'Your pleasant and open personality wins everyone over', I forget, something like that.
Fits of laughter all round.

No joke: My brother got one that said

You will die soon

from the local cheapo student place. He complained, and they brought him another one

You will die soon

don't worry, that was 15 years ago. Still kicking. I guess "soon" is relative.
