Read my blog

Posted by Deneb on December 8, 2006, at 2:17:30

I just want to feel heard. I don't want to post the wrong things. I don't want people to get upset. Maybe knowing that people heard me will be enough.

Was happy, but was also in denial about exams. Moods change just like that.

:-(

Maybe people shouldn't read my blog. Someone posted a comment saying that no one wants to read my stuff.

I'm upset.

I can't handle this.

Thanks for the hugs sunnydays. They really made me feel cared.

It might be triggering. Enter at your own risk.

((((Deneb))))

There's so much hurt in the words in your blog. But it is yours and you are in control of it. I think it's good to write. But write for yourself, not for other people. Write what will make you heal and feel better. You don't have to write things because of anyone else...it's something that's completely yours.

Take care of yourself.

Deneb,

I agree with sunnydays. There is alot of hurt in what you've written on your blogs. There must be some positives in your life. You should write about what inspires you and gives you hope. You are so young and have so much ahead of you.

I sense your pain in what you have written and understand and know from experience how hard it can be, but there will be brighter, more joyful days ahead.

regards,
happykat :)

I will definitely read it. I already made a special bookmark for it. ((Deneb))

I'm glad you're doing it, but don't forget what a free-wheeling place the Web really is.....people may post who-knows-what to you, and you may have to find more ways to have a *very* thick skin. For example, you mentioned....

>>Someone posted a comment saying that no one wants to read my stuff.<<

I haven't gone to your site again yet, so I hope I'm not misunderstanding, but I have 2 things I say (sometimes over and over) to myself at reactions like that:

"who cares?"
"so what?"

I really do find those useful to repeat in my head. The "so what?" comes out of an old exercise my ex-T (pdoc) used to do in our CBT group, to help show us how we were jumping to huge conclusions based on the reactions (or often the anticipated reactions) of others, which then led to bad feelings about ourselves.

Other peoples' opinions of your writing, etc., do NOT change the way your friends feel about you, not do they change your value, which is great.
