I'm a dumba*s

Posted by Lindenblüte on November 13, 2006, at 22:09:13

I developed a tolerance to caffeine that was too close to the dose necessary for me to experience nasty side-effects of jitter, tremor, headache, nausea, racing thoughts.

Today I cut my dose WAY down. and I feel like crap.

And you know why I feel even worse? Because I'm bitching and moaning about my freaking headache, knowing all the other struggles out there.

I could be part of the solution. Instead I'm just trapped in my own throbbing cranium, counting the minutes until I give up on staying awake.

that means sleep, folks. nothing more sinister.

but reclining my head to horizontal makes my eyes throb.

I'm such a melodramatic whiner

freak!

wimp.

Stand a Horseshoe

I used to worry about my caffeine (coffee) consumption. Years ago I had a kind of rule I lived by: no coffee at home, I had to go out for it. (and I lived 2 miles from the nearest caffeine source)

Years passed, I bought a recliner, a microwave, and finally got so lazy I started drinking coffee at home.

More years passed and the morning walk for coffee became fantasy, science fiction, and black comedy. Now, it took all my strength just to crawl down the hall and heat the water.

And what used to go for a pot of coffee is now my *cup*. I cut out the *middleman*, the water, and drink something Louis La'Mour would be proud of. A mixture black as something or other (I don't know my "black as" metaphors) and so thick, it will "stand a horseshoe".

Hi li,

Try drinking just a cup to get you over the hump, you were drinking A LOT before, and you need to not cut back so dramatically, okay? Or have some more of all that wonderful tea you bought a while back. (((((linden))))

Thanks Satin,
you're a peach :)

I'm giving me a hug right now

((((Me))))

long day. now it's over.

Oh. I forgot to mention in my other post regarding caffeine withdrawal that I took an extra 200mg provigil at about 1pm today. That undoubtedly helped me maintain high IQ until late in the day.
