For anyone who's followed this, Faith Hill claims she was "joking" at the CMA awards. Honestly, that doesn't even make sense. Now she is also a liar.

I've seen that video several times and there is no way she was joking.
She looked really mad to me.

I should probably just let the clip speak for itself but I agree with both of you Phillipa and Madeline that her reaction certainly appeared genuine.I just don't understand why so many people like the CMA president and Carrie Underwood are (officially) accepting her totally bogus explanation.
If you notice her putting her hands up in the air it's clear she was beginning to accept the award for herself. She acted disgracefully and with complete arrogance--why is she above reproach? Not legally or anything but just simply call her on it.
I recall several years ago when her husband Tim McGraw got drunk in Upstate NY, stole a police horse and was charged with felony assault of a police officer as well as resisting arrest and other charges when they tried to commandeer the horse. Did he do any time--nope, acquitted on all charges. What do you think would happen if *I* did this?
Anyhow, the clip speaks for itself.

I agree with the previous insights.
And she wasn't being "sexually suggestive" in her porn flick, "I Love the Way you Love Me" with the gushing fountains, opening flower petals, nurse's uniform, writhing on the bed, and the "I'm so weak in the knees, I may tinkle at any moment" look.
Even my daughter at 14 years of age, mentioned Faith Hill and Shania Twain when she did a paper on pornography in high school.
Let's sherlock this. 1. Has Faith Hill been funny in the past? 2. Can Faith Hill *act*? (well maybe with the writhing) 3. Did she reasonably expect to win the award?
I think it was genuine spontaneous reaction followed by spin control.
