first Mel, and then mr. foley check themselves into rehab--so it wasn't the devil that made you do it --huh? It was the whiskey------there you go blaming the Irish again!

there was that wonderful commedienne, named Wanda something or the other, on Jay Leno who was making fun of Foley's decision to go to rehab and she said that he was giving alcohol a "bad name"........hiding behind the bottle. :-)

I read some columnist who pointed out that whereas people used to hide their alchoholism, not they flaunt it as an excuse. I guess that's the same as giving it a bad name.

i remember the scottish.

something about a half and a hoff

(pronounced roughly a haff and a haff)

apparantly...

it is the most efficient way to absorb alchohol out or alchohol.

it involves one half a pint and a hoff (i think a double of scotch)

bloody visiting scholars...

sigh.
