Folks, this is what I do when I'm totally antsy and in complete denial that there are better things to do with my life.
I just WASTED an entire SATURDAY AFTERNOON sitting in my office, hooked up to a T1 line, attempting to find a useful shred of info on my pdoc or T.
NOTHING! I know NOTHING about them. [slyly] other than what they choose to reveal in my appts with them.
Why do I do this?
I'm in such serious D-Nial.
I think I better go get gelato. otherwise I'm going to spend the night in this cold, desolate room.
CrEePY... I hope some of you will be babblechatty later? I'll be around. that's a promise. If not on a T1 line, there's always DSL at home.

I tried it, if only because it said on google that I could browse pics of available singles free. And then asked a gazillion questions-- and I"m thinking, they need to know this to let me browse free?
Well, no free browsing, but if I want to join match.com, I"m need to figure out how to package myself better. Even I wouldn't go out with me based on my profile.
So I still don't know if my T;s pics are there. Better not be. Or I'm going to have a fit. ;[

Lol ... I was a beta member ... free membership for life ... go ahead and try to find me there, hehe, the information is about 7-8 years old by now anyway....

If it's public information, it's not really stalking. In today's day and age, pdocs and therapists and everyone else needs to be aware that many people google.
I'm not sure altogether how I feel about that, although I certainly do it. :) But that's a society issue, not a llrrrpp one.
I suppose it can get to be a bit of an obsession. Thank heavens for my short attention span. My therapist comes up with just a few pages of hits, mostly not him. And if I get a lot of hits on someone's name, I swiftly lose interest.

My husband's beta, too... I sometimes sneak a browse just for fun...
I get scared, though, that he'll find out, that he'll get an email from them or something, and he'll think I'm shopping...
Guess I know what I'll be doing on Tuesday... You say you're in there? NYC? Hm... Gonna have to think of which search criteria will find you.... I'm betting "Brilliant and Talented and Kind..." Am I getting close?

I have a friend who does this whole thing on MySpace. It's a great way of meeting people. Oh, only if your idea of people is single teens and twenty-somethings who put a lot of personal stuff online to create a persona. Wait. I think I just heard a hippo cry. oh, never mind.
She has a j-date profile too. It's for jewish singles.
Please don't be tempted by her. She's cute, but so crazy she doesn't even know she's crazy. In other words, she's my complete opposite.

I've googled not only the pdocs I've seen in the past few years, but the one I may or may not see this month. Very, very little on any of them. (Although I did accidentally see pictures of my now ex-GP's wedding -- that was something...)
My T has a ton out there, mostly just schedules though. "Racer's T will give a seminar on eating disorders" or "Racer's T, dean of [nunnayabeezwhacks U], will speak on [eating disorder related subject] -- although in the course of checking her out, I did find out she's married to a podiatrist ;-)
Somehow, I think I'd be reassured if I found ANYTHING on some of these pdocs. If they're publishing, maybe they're paying attention...

There's a quincunx(?) Llrrrpp. Things can get messed up if we allow.
So, try stay in moment, or will fall into worry.
I'm going to, ... because I felt the change today ... try stay in present ... try stay in present ... I'm getting it. I had it.
Geez ... someone's (always blaming others) tryin' to pull me out of my moment.
Need to try be quiet, listen, and stay in my moment no matter what moment another is in.

Oh, and 'no' it wasn't me that stole your moments, .. it was my rainydayman, he steals my moments AND my friends' moments! I had to go hide from him yesterday.
