Just saw your pictures Philippa, and is Chloe EVER cute and she looks exactly like the pups I raised. Yes, she's a girl all right, and I think they have a little hoodie like we do.
Hope that helps, could be wrong but definitely boys have theirs up closer to the tummy and it's also more obvious. Way more obvious. You're lucky. What a cute girl, and Chloe is a GREAT name.

Susan thanks. That's exactly what the Vet said. And she is a cutie no doubt about that. But the little sweetie just loves to pee and poop outside and then repeat it inside a few more times. But the Vet also said it takes four months for the brain to connect the act. I've puppy pads all over and she chooses the carpet. I do cage her at night and it's incredible what that tiny bladder holds. Love Phillipa ps Teddy my two year old toy poodle got him at eight weeks and never made a mistake?

D'you know if you're using puppy pads try wiping them all over the carpet first, on the side you're putting up. Like, scent them. Open them up a couple of days ahead and.. do you know, I don't know if anything will work like the carpet. That's a fact. She's marking the territory that's yours and those puppy pads ain't it. I tried them too, hahaha.
I raised fourteen of those little guys, three litters, and the fun and the love and the play was fabulous ....
Someday maybe I'll be lucky enough to do it again.

Thank-you Susan. I will. Oh since she likes the grass my husband was thinking of putting a piece of sod in a pan and putting it in the house. Love Phillipa

Sod in the house? That sounds like an interesting idea. I wonder if she'd go for it. Try it and tell, it sounds like a fun idea ... I can just see the look on her face ... tell us what she does.
