I wanted to be a priest (sounds very strange these days).

thats actually not that uncommon. Tom cruise and Nicoholas Cage wanted to be priests when they grew up. Turned out to be actors, but i dont think it is that uncommon at that generation.
I want to be an investment banker. Go to wall street! i have dreams about going there.
Alot of my family is in ministry. Gospel type. Not catholic. More non-denominational.
So dont feel that out sided.

And I'm not even Catholic! (Presbyterian, but very lapsed. I think there's something about Protestant girls that makes us envy the rituals of Catholicism.)
(Then again, I also envied the Jews, because Temple is so much more INclusive, versus our church, which was very EXclusive.)
I wonder, too, what I'll be when I grow up. Tonight ain't a night to ask, though, on accounta I think I've been crying most of the day. I'll tell you one thing, though: I never expected to find myself a barren, middle aged woman on disability because of mental illness.

To be a great writer would be good. You'd never be able to see anyone and everyone would think you were brilliant.

Maybe you're right, PJ. I don't feel very mature. People who spend most of their lives in bed (or mental hospitals or on opiates) do not age quickly (sometimes).... just kidding. And bored. Lovely weather here today.

Hi Racer,
Admit it, you didn't want to be just any nun, you wanted to be Hailey Mills in the Trouble with Angels.

The wicked Queen, Snowhite's step mother, had a beautiful habit in my book. I'm not *really* saying I wanted to be her though.
This is the end of the thread.
