STAND BACK EVERYONE!!!

Posted by Dinah on July 6, 2006, at 9:32:53

I'm starting a diet. And I become less than cheerful on a diet.

Everyone please help chivy me along in this? Even though I'm crabby and miserable on a diet, and can't get much work done, I think my basic health depends on losing twenty or twentyfive pounds.

IF i ever have Miss thing we can be diet buddies =)

PS~and i learned that the more water you drink, the more energy you have and more weight loss, PROMISE! women who increase their water 4 1/2 cups daily burn an extra 17,400 calories!!!! water also boosts the metabolism.(American baby July 2006)...ps~i have to use the walmart OTG brand of water flavors sometimes. it's cheaper and tastes the same.

:)

Will you be breastfeeding? I found what they said is true. I lost all my pregnancy weight in the first few months of my son's life.

Then I gained it all back plus a bit when I went on Luvox, and have been pretty steady since then, until a few weeks ago. :(

I'll definitely try to keep very well hydrated. Especially since the only thing I'll still like to eat and be able to eat is pickles.

Good luck and go for it! I'm trying to cut back on certain foods for health and financial reasons. So I might get crankIER. :)

Sounds like a good thing you're doing. Focus on the process, not the outcome? That helps me.

I'm not sure anything will help, but a big bowl of pasta. :)

I can't even think what to cook for dinner. Maybe I'll get out my old Sugarbusters book for ideas.

I'll do it with you if you like. I'm not looking forward to the carbo withdrawal, but it just might be necessary :-(
I don't expect to be pleasant through it.

You mean it ends?

I've never stuck out a low carb diet long enough to find out.

Midnight Blue and I have been diet buddies. It'd be great if you and anyone else who'd like to get some mutual support would join us.
