The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?

I've got to do something about the way I look. I mean a girl just can't go to Sing Sing with a green face.

Now over here, this used to be the lion house, but as it's no longer suitable for animals, we're using it for middle management.

I'm going to the shed. Mother always said, when you're naughty, you go to the shed. And I've been naughty. God, I'm depressed.

Of course, I'm also cracked, and this is the high point of my day, every weekday.
Poet's a genius, you know.

When a man is wrestling a leopard in the middle of a pond, he's in no position to run

I feel like I'm interrupting a conversation.
Leopards don't like ponds.
I've taken 2 naps already today and it's barely after noon.

I do, I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you, or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.
(And should I read anything into your latest pattern?)

No, that's ridiculous! You can't be all three. Figure out which one you are and call me back!
p.s. just what do you read into my pattern? I would get dizzy trying to following something that goes around and around in circles...

No, ma'am. We at the FBI do not have a sense of humor we're aware of.
(Is your Fish Fierce? Have you been to the video store lately? Or just trying to make yourself -- and me -- laugh?)

Don't write this down, but I find Milton probably as boring as you find Milton. Mrs. Milton found him boring too. He's a little bit long-winded, he doesn't translate very well into our generation, and his jokes are terrible.

But that doesn't relieve you of your responsibility for this material. Now I'm waiting for reports from some of you... Listen, I'm not joking. This is my job!
