All you see is free camera phone all over the place. I have been round and round on the internet trying to get one and a better plan. Once I decided on one, they say my credit isn't good enough, but I still need to call to cancel. So now I've been waiting forever on hold. To make things even more frusterating, I have accidently hung up twice when the person came on the line while trying to switch it from speakerphone.
I decided to go through my current carrier thinking it would be easier. I have to call them too. I'm just so sick of everything you have to go through. They sure don't make it easy for you to spend more money!

Now I had to pay $129.00 to switch carriers because of my bad credit. I went ahead and authorized it, although I may have been able to go through my current carrier for cheaper. But it was just so freaking confusing and I want my new phone!!! I haven't been happy with them anyway and have heard good things about the new one I chose. Maybe that's just the price I have to pay for bad credit. Whatever, I want my new camera phone.

I use the cheapest phone. It's free with my plan, and the batteries last 5 days. I like it, because I tend to drop my phone a lot.
I prefer to spend my monies on other gadgets. iPods are my weakness.
Well, I hope your new phone is lots of fun- just think, you can take pics of the bitchygrls doing dumb things and blackmail them!

You made me laugh out loud. Yeah, I can't wait until I get my phone, they said a few days. I wouldn't have spent the money if I was going on layoff like I originally thought.
A camera phone is the next best thing to a digital camera. I can take pictures and put them online. Maybe I'll even show yall what I look like!

I don't know the cost, but our daughter's both got the prepaid phones for Christmas. They're in a lot of activities, and we need to be able to get in touch with them, or have the be able to contact us. Their phones work better than my expensive LG from Cingular. I had to replace mine, and pay for it after I broke my last one. I hate being committed to a contract too! The batteries in theirs last way longer, they have great options, and the minutes seem to last forever.
Any chance you'd do it that way?

The two people I've known who had prepaid phones were always running out of minutes, which meant you couldn't call them. And they seemed to spend more a month than a plan would cost. Your girls probably just don't talk that much. Although what girl doesn't talk on the phone much? I don't know. Maybe you just got a good deal.
I'm already commited now anyway. What I got was a:
• Motorola V300 Camera PhoneAnd service through T-mobile including:
• Any 400 Text / Instant / Picture / Video Messaging
• Unlimited T-Mobile WebI've never had text messaging, and don't know anyone who does, so I just got the smallest amount. And if I understand it correctly, Unlimited T-Mobile Web means access to the internet. I had to pay extra for those two things, about $5 each a month.
I hope I got everything right, I have a 2 year contract now. But my old phone had about had it (the antenna broke off) and my plan was old so I didn't really have enough minutes. Every so often I'd go over. In fact, I just realized that when I was on hold for so long last night, I used almost all my minutes!
