...you get confirmation of an intuition, particularly if that confirmation comes from multiple sources? It just makes me feel balanced and more secure.

I know *exactly* what you mean..
Annoyingly, my intuition is shouting at me very loudly about someone, elsewhere, yet everyone else thinks butter wouldn't melt..
