I cleaned out the pantry, the frige, the freezer, the cabinets, made my grocery list (including Easter dinner), did all the dishes, and am almost finished with all the laundry. The house is realtively clean (ok, the 1st floor) and I've even managed to read part of a book today. What the hell is wrong with me?! ;~}

Got a wild hair and cut down all the overgrown evergreen bushes and trees Sat. evening. Now the yard is pretty naked. I need a plan to redo the landscaping.

Sounds like fun. Our yard was seriously overgrown when we bought our home. It looks so much better now. Neighbors come by and tell us they had no idea we had a window upstairs in the front, because it was always hidden by these huge trees towering over the house practically growing into the front door.
One of my favorite local nurseries will draw up a free landscape plan, which is what we did for the front yard. Maybe there's something like that near you?
And heck, I'd trade working in the garden for housework anyday. :)
