In the summer I don't mind going barefoot. In the colder seasons I wear shoes outside much to my chagrin. And I never wear shoes in the house.
My feet hurt with shoes , they get too uncomfy.Peace

I'm gonna guess that we don't find many people who regularly wear shoes inside the house. I base that guess because there was a similar question a while back on a spinning site, about whether or not anyone wore shoes while spinning on a wheel. Most everyone there said the same thing: I couldn't spin with shoes on!
For the record, these days I do wear slippers indoors mostly, but I'm a barefoot sort of gal... My old neighbor used to yell at me, when I was running around barefoot outside, but I do that, too, sometimes.

I always wear shoes outside, but never inside. I wear socks though, my feet get cold.
No one wears shoes inside our house. Shoes are too dirty.

I really only wear shoes outside. I have the comffiest pair of shoes EVER. They are getting kinda old and gross, and my mom has tried to thow them out 3 times, but I've saved them so far. I love slippers and slide ons, and really comfy sandles.
The big trend here is flip flops. Even now when it's cold out. I dont' get it.
Do you wear sandles with socks?

I never go inside and take off my shoes, it usually happens when I sit on the sofa or something.

I don't think i have ever owned a pair of slippers. Maybe when I was a kid, but even then. Protect your shoes lol My mom did it to a pair of mine years ago :(

I don't wear socks with sandals, but sometimes I wear band-aids with sandals. LOL
I find flip-flops very difficult to walk/run in. They're uncomfortable to me. There's no way I can wear flip-flops during winter. There's snow here.
What's a *real* winter? I don't think we had a *real* winter this year, only for a couple of days. It's been a really warm winter. I miss the cold! LOL I like it when it's so cold out that your nose hairs freeze up whenever you inhale. LOL

That's how we gauge how cold it is. If your nose hairs freeze up the minute you walk outside, then it's really really really cold. If it takes a couple minutes, it's really really cold, and if you have to breath deep then it's just really cold. LOL.
We also go by how long it takes our glasses to defrost when get inside.

What the heck is spinning? The club down the road from me has it, but they charge extra for it, so I thought it must be really cool.
But what is it???

I never wear shoes or socks unless I'm leaving the complex completely. Or if I'll be walking in grass areas, because the dog owners around here are disgusting, and I don't want to track something undectable into the house that will hurt my indoor cats.

> But what is it???Sorry -- wrong kind of spinning. There's a kind at gyms that involves a sort of extreme cycling, but I mean the kind where you use a spinning wheel and spin fibers into yarn. You know, kinda like the spindle in Sleeping Beauty? Or the spinning wheel used by Rumplestiltskin?
I don't think I could use a bicycle without shoes, but I know that I can't "feel" the spinning wheel with shoes on...

I thought you might mean that type of spinning, but I thought you could mean the other kind, too.
Your type is *way* cool. I wish I knew how.
