What do you like to think about?

Posted by Deneb on March 13, 2006, at 22:30:43

I'm just wondering what different people like to think about.

What things do you think about to make you happy?

You can guess what I think about that makes me happy. ;-)

One thing that makes me happy is visulizing me succeeding and getting out into the world, i like to jog and imagine me doing things out of this world, like doing a world tour concert. Meeting Stars.

Which i hope i will one day.

Thats mine

hi Deneb,
it's an interesting question!

I don't even know if I spend much time just "thinking." I guess when I DO, I like to think positive thoughts about the future. For example, I imagine a day when I'm thin (ha), wildly successful, etc. General happy thoughts include my family, esp. my little nieces and nephews (SO cute!), or fun times I've had with my husband and family, or funny thing that have happened.

What are yours?

also, I have to work hard to push negative thoughts out of my head. I have a problem where I tend to obsess negatively about things. If I have an ache or pain, I start to imaging that it is an awful disease. Then my mind starts thinking about the awful tests I'd have to undergo, and how I'd get sick, and the pain/suffering/anguish that would result, etc. It's SO easy for my mind to race off on nasty little tangents, all the time.

So I have to really force myself to stop thinking that way, and to stay positive. ;)
At least, I'm trying!

Those are great things to think about. I should think about success in my future and getting out into the world too.

Heehee, how'd you know? LOL

I'm serious too. I really do think about Dr. Bob and smile. Thinking about fuzzy cute hamsters also makes my day.

Just so people won't think I'm absolutely insane, I'll also say that I like to think about how lucky I am to have a loving (even if they don't actually say they love me) and supportive family.
