I am thinking that later on or tomorrow or sometime in the next week I am gonna go get me a fur baby. Probably a guinea pig. Once we are more settled (prob in several months, then a puppy). But right now I think I am gonna get me a little pet to keep me company and take care of. I would get a hamster, but I am worried cuz they are so small and sometimes hard to hand tame. Even though they are so cute :). Well just had to announce this. Heading off to sleep.
Peace to all of you

I'm so happy and excited for you! I want a guinea pig too! My Mom won't let me have one, so now I want to get a hamster!
What type of cage are you using?

I have two. Rupert and Reggie. They are SOOO CUTE!
They make these sweet little squeaking noises and they smell so good. And are so warm and cuddly. They live about 5-6 years - which is too short, but keeping pigs is one of the best pet decisions I have ever made.
Be sure they get plenty of Vitamin C and timothy hay. They also need lots of fresh veggies like carrots, green peppers, parsley. They also love granny smith apples.
The best bedding for them is just newspaper topped with a generous handful of this stuff called Carefresh.
Don't get me wrong, rabbits are nice too, but I love my pigs so much.

I will get a hamster when I'm done with my classes this semester. I want to give my new hamster my full and undivided attention during the first few weeks.

Posted another separate post. Thanks for all the advice guys. But, I didn't get a partner for him because boys are aggressive to each other but I have all the time in the world to give him attention. Hugs
