I napped too today. I got a little depressed and just decided to avoid things by sleeping.

I sleep in shifts. I am always tired. Combination of meds, depression and health problems. So I guess I am always napping too. Should we start a club :) I wonder how many folks on here get tired a lot. Well, I hope you are doing well and take care. Much light and sunshiny days I hope you will have.

I think it is ok to take a nap. I am sleeping a bit better now and so ... given half a chance, I could stay in bed the entire day. When there are not dreams, sleeping is a wonderful escape. But then there are those dreams .............. They even intrude on my naps!

> SabrinaJeez, last night I was up all night. I really shouldn't be trying to fit into this hubby overnight schedule thing. But I get tired and when I get tired I don't like to be interrupted by those dreams. I am not sure what kind of dreams you have, but I had some pretty bizarre ones last week. My goodness. They say to watch what you eat before going to sleep lol. Sometimes I wonder if it is med related. Nice to see you posting Sabrina.
Well wishes

I've accepted it as part of me for a long time and it doesn't necessarily imply anything pathological going on with me. Also - luckily, it doesn't intrude on my night sleeping ---- usually and I generally still manage to be productive despite REALLY loving to nap.
I have sometimes felt a judgemental attitude from friends: "I guess I couldn't reach you as you were NAPPING" (spitting it out as if they were saying I was doing something awful). Even that doesn't bother me anymore. I say: More power to the 'SPN' - Society for the Preservation of Napping.

I think napping is great, I worked out my ideal job would be as a mattress tester (if such a thing exists) and my luxury item for my 'desert island discs' list (possibly a UK only thing!!) would be my duvet!!
