I just watched "Crash" tonight. What a thought-provoking and excellent film. Great ensemble cast as well. And Don Cheadle...all I can say about him is WOW! I think he's one of the most talented actors out there today.

> gg=== I haven't seen crash, but have you seen the independent film where he plays a counslelor at juvenile mental health facility? I don't remember the name Maybe "manic"? But he (Don Cheadle) is a hell of an actor.

Yeah, I saw it awhile ago. I thought it was excellent and extremely powerful. Makes you re-examine the stereotypes that you didn't think you had...but I think we all hold some form of prejudice in some way. I never cry at movies, but when the guy was rescuing the lady from the burning car, I definitely cried.
And I love Don Cheadle. Another excellent film along the same line as "Crash" is his film "Hotel Rwanda".

A couple I really enjoyed:
In Her Shoes - thought it would be very light & fluffy, but it wasn't. Good plot; interesting stuff about families & relationships; nice feeling at end :-)
Junebug - loved it. Great acting; interesting about relationships in a family; a few weird bits, but I really liked it.
Ladies in Lavendar - a lovely movie. I cried in a nice way near the end. Lovely scenery & music. Great acting
I like movies about people & their experiences & feelings.
Also - one of my all-time favourites - Spitfire Grill
