When You Dream Whatl's It About?

If you dream at night what is the dream about. Flying, getting lost, sex whatever and do you remember them? Fondly, Phillipa

I only occasionally remember them, but they always seem to be about people being mean to me. I guess they're anxiety dreams.

Or I dream about everyday stuff like getting up, taking a shower, making coffee, driving to work, ect. Sometimes those confuse me later because I can't remember what really happened and what was a dream.

Oh, or talking to people who have died on the phone. I had one like that about my Grandmother last night. I'll be talking and carrying on a conversation, but in my head I'm going, "What on earth? She's supposed to be dead!"

I don't remember any recent dreams, but I remember having dreams where I'm being chased by someone. I would run and then I would fly and it would be really fun and exhilarating.

I love dreams where I fly. I just run really fast and then I fly. Flying is usually difficult.

That's how I dream too! I always wish I had dreams full of meaningful imagery. And that funny feeling of not quite knowing if you dreamed something or did it? Of course, I also sometimes think about something and that's enough to have convinced myself that I did it. So if I mentally picture myself making an important work call, I then forget to actually do it.

It changes so much. More nightmares than anything but sometimes I get lucky and meet the man of my dreams, fall into that everlasting BS love I see and then wake up to reality..lol

You can see you're all revealing something about your lives and worries during the day. Dreaming is the minds way of dealing with real life issues. When nursing I always dreamed that I waa trying to find my pts and getting them their meds on time. Only to wake up with a pounding pulse. And has anyone ever had the falling dreams? They say you always wake-up before you hit the bottom of the stairs, floor or whatever. Fondly, Phillipa

I dream about being in a resale shop and I'm finding the coolest records and books ever and they are super cheap but I keep losing them or the store is about to close.

Or I'm messed up and traveling all over the place getting lost and confused.

Or I turn the corner and find a whole different part of the neighborhood I've never been in.

Or sex with a relative (oops)

Psychic dreams

I forgot about my psychic dreams. One time about a year or so ago, I was dreaming about my friends from high school. We had a group that was really close, its the last time I can remember being part of a group like that (kind of like 'Friends' or something). Two of our friends were high school sweethearts and got married two years out of school. So in the dream, we were at the wedding again, and I was standing beside my friend who was another bride's maid. My friend who was the bride started walking up the aisle, and she was holding a baby girl. I turned to my bridesmaid friend and said, "I didn't know ___ had a baby girl!" She said, "Neither did I!". That's all I can remember about the dream.

About two months later I got a card from my friend (the bride), who I hadn't talked to in 2 or 3 years. It was an announcment of the birth of their baby girl two months before.

I also had a dream I was watching the news and saw this horrible plane crash and was just standing there completely stunned. When I woke up I thought, okay, if a plane crashes anytime soon, that's going to be freaking weird. I decided I would tell someone about it so if it happened I would have a witness. I forgot. The next day, there was a plane crash on the news, but everyone survived. I was a little freaked, but it wasn't horrible like the dream so I didn't think much of it.

The NEXT day a plane crashed killing everyone on it.

Weird, huh?

P.S. A friend of my brother had this dream where he was walking down a road and there was a explosion somewhere up ahead. Suddenly office furniture started raining down all around him. He later thought, what a strange thing to dream.

I'm sure you can guess, a week or so later was 9/11.
He and my brother were together on 9/11, and he had already told him about his dream. My brother said he just stood there gaping at the TV saying, "its just like my dream! Its just like my dream!"

I've been having really vivid dreams lately. Last night in my dreams I was back home, skiing (which I don't do) with my little cousin, but her feet froze, and they were so cold, so I picked her up and took her inside and my old co-workers didn't do anything to help my little cousin.

I also find that when I'm working I dream about work. Mostly about accidents on the slides, and not having my radio to communicate with the other gaurds. Or that I'm in my bed sleeping on the job.

They can be so weird

For as long as I can remember this has freaked me out. I don't remember any of my sleeping dreams, if I have them. I should state that I do remember having wierd dreams in the morning when I try to go back to sleep for an hour or so, but I know that they are dreams even when they are happening. During my regular sleep it is a blank. I wake up and it seems as if I am all of a sudden there, I don't recollect anything like a dream. I've had people in the past wake me up in the middle of the night just to ask me what I was dreaming or remember, the answer is ALWAYS nothing. I don't know what it means, all I know is that it messes with my head sometimes.

I had a dream about meeting Dr. Bob

My sister and I were in an unfamiliar house, I think it was a house we had lived in previously (in real life).

Dr. Bob was there and I was meeting him for the first time. I was very quiet and tried to avoid his gaze. At first when he talked to me he didn't know who I was. I don't know if he made small talk or not, but he was more talkative than I imagined he would be.

He would try to talk to me and then I would hide somewhere. I kept running away and hiding. Then somehow he found out that I was Deneb and I tried to hide even more because I was mortified of the things that I have done here.

Anyways, I was a total nutcase as he tried to make conversation and I kept hiding and running away.

Then suddenly one of my cousins was there and my sister told him to get her some ice cream with some topping (I forget which). I said I would have the same.

I wonder what my dream is saying?

I wouldn't worry about not being able to remember your dreams. There's some reason that we forget them, some mechanism or something. Like the one that keeps us still rather than acting out our dreams by walking around and stuff. Sleepwalking comes from when that mechanism doesn't work right. I bet whatever it is that makes us forget, yours just works extra well.
