Well.. it's officially official.
The "mom" got sick.
Went to the urgent care clinic- had them do a strep test. My throat has white and red spots all in it- it hurts to swallow, eat, and breathe (pretty much just hurts).
Anyway, also found out I have an ear infection- which is odd since my ear doesn't hurt at all. But anyway, I'm on the antibiotics right now which means I will get a yeast infection. Yadda, yadda, yadda.
Well, on my way out the door, my 6 year old says, " Mom... I don't feel good." He looks nearly green. So I said, " let's go to the toilet." So of course, he puked.
Mom and dad ar standing over him watching him and rubbing his back- he looks up at us and says, " Thanks guys for standing here with me. It means a lot." ROFL
I have no clue where he comes up with this stuff.. even when he's sick, he can make me laugh.
:)

I think it is nice to support your son during the most yucky thing. I can't do, or I will puke too! LOL
I am sick too, went to the doctor today and I have a sinus infection that also flared up my asthma. What fun, steroids and antibodics. And no, I am not panicing, only 40 people due to my house in less than 14 hours. Oh, no, the kids presents aren't wrapped! I wish they were younger and we could fool them and tell them X-mas is next week! LOL I hope you feel better soon! Eat lots of ice cream, that always feels good. :)

HF, it's your husband's family. Tell him to get his rear in gear and take care of it, and when his family gets there, they can all pitch in. Go to your room, lock the door, go to bed, stay there, take care of yourself. Tell them not to bother you unless there's and emergency, and to wake you when the food's ready! ; )
Sorry you and spriggy are sick. Maybe try Airborne, I swear by it. I get sick all the time every winter, but this year I started taking Airborne, and haven't been sick once. (knock on wood!) I get it at Target, it's in with the cold and flu meds.

I took a whole tube of that stuff two weeks ago when my younger kid came down with strep.
I ran out and couldn't find any at my local grocery store so I bought the next best thing.. Emergen'C.
Apparently, (hacking as I write this), it doesn't work as well..

If you eat yogurt, it will help you not to get a yeast infection. YOu can also take asedofulus. I know that I misspelled it. It is phonetically correct though.
Anyway, you can get asedofulus on the same shelf as vitamins. That will also prevent yeast infections.
Your friend,
Lynn

I don't think anyone could eat as much yogurt as me (live cultures- plain and organic) and I still manage to get yeast problems.
I woke up with thrush in my mouth today; waiting for the on call dr. to return my call so he can call me in some Nystatin.
This is the way it always goes with me on antibiotics, which is why I HATE taking them.

Sorry!!! Thrus is not fun. Have you ever done a cleanse for candida?
I have a friend who is big into herbs and natural remedies. There is a such thing as a candida cleanse. It cleanses your whole body from a yeast overgrowth. Candida can also cause fatigue.
Hope you feel better soon,
Praying for youLynn
