Does anyone know where to purchase large quantities of peaunut MnM's?
We are doing small organza bags of peanut MnM's for our favors because they are relatively inexpensive and we can do them ourselves. I have already found the little bags on a discount wedding supplies website for $.19 apiece. It doesn't get any better than that, folks.
Now for the candy, I would like to buy it in bulk if possible. I would like to avoid buying large bags because even that gets spendy. I can get custom candies on the MnM's website, but it doesn't look like I can just purchase the candy in bulk. Does Costco carry this stuff in bulk?
We chose peanut MnM's because we met in high school in our 6th period class. One day he brought a bag of these into class and I asked if I could have some. After that he bought a bag of them every day just so he could have an excuse to talk to me.
Be careful about accepting candy from strange men because you just might end up married to them.

Best I saw just looking a bit. Seems to be no one has more than 52 ounces...seems strange.
I know our Sam's Club does not carry them in bulk here. Don't have a Costco close by.

Hey Voce,
I think that's a great idea. I really don't want to be a downer, but as someone who has an allergy to peanuts I'd just have to urge caution. It's when the usual warning lables and stuff aren't there that accidents happen (especially to kids) and I'd just hate anything to spoil your special day.

Maybe a choice of plain vs peanut? Or include in invitation a place to check if allergic to peanuts. And remember never to accept candy from anyone. Fondly, Phillipa

Right, good point. We had planned to attach a small printed card to the bag, with the story, "Fiance and I met because of peaunut MnM's" so that people will get why we are doing this, and be absolutely sure of what is in there. Phillipa's suggestion of having some plain bags is a good one too. Thanks for the heads up.

Plain M&M's are made with the same equipment, so if they are allergic to peanuts, even the plain ones would be trouble too.
It is not that common, really, and most people who are allergic, knows how to take precautions. Nice story! Have a great wedding! :)
