Who likes to seek adventure?

Posted by Deneb on September 28, 2005, at 21:23:55

I took this sensation seeking quiz for my psychology course and I got a high score! I like adventure. :-)

It's too bad I also scored high on the social avoidance and distress quiz...

I'm a pretty weird person. I seem contradictory.

I'm just curious, who else seeks adventure here? What do you like to do? What would you like to do?

What's the craziest thing you've ever done? What's the craziest thing you would like to do?

I want to be in one of those adventure reality shows...like the Amazing Race. :-)

Hey Deneb! I love adventure but that darn social anxiety kills it so ur not alone on that one. I really don't know if i can pick *the* craziest thing i've done b/c i have done some crazy stuff. Hmmmm i have stolen a car, outran the cops(i wasnt driving) so that may not count,i have hung out the window on the interstate drunk b/c someone *dared* me...(Guardian Angels)! I did the Coyote Ugly dance (looked like a slut) at a bar i will NOT step foot in now when i drank too much. I'll stop there. Most of them are from the drunk days~no need to go there ; )

I used to be afraid of anything new...

Now on Wellbutrin and Risperdal, I am learning to rock-climb and starting motorcycle riding classes on the 18th.

I feel like I have only just been freed from the racing thoughts in my head which kept me home and want to start really living.

Hmm...I don't think I like adventure much. I'm too anxious. I also don't want to move out of my home town. I want to live here forever. I'm silly like that =P I wasn't always that way though. I used to want to move to california.

Adventure to me is getting into the world, and trying to become something. Big Cities, Big People, Big everything. I want to go to wall street new york someday and make an investment.

Going to south africa, and the Amazon river to i want to do. Seeing how other people are in other contries or villages. I like watching the things that study on tribes. We support a person in africa through christian fund, named Tito Cominirdor. He is my age, he writes me letters about what he does, works around the trible, what wants to be (a teacher). I write back what america is like. I told him one day I would meet him.

Going on Expeditions make me thrilled, going through forests, mointains, plains, anything.

I think we all have diffrent view of adventure. Like yours in psychology. Thats something.

Well, one day make your adventure to meet dr. bob

Did you have fun in Florida or was it all business?

Wow Wildcard! Your life sounds really exciting!

Stealing a car? Out-running the cops?! You sure do live up to your name! You're wild!

Sometimes I wish I were a spy or something...I would travel around the world doing top secret stuff, getting myself into all sorts of predicaments. :-)

Cool! I wanna learn how to rock climb too! It looks really fun coming down and it's a nice workout going up!

I want to go hang-gliding one day.

It's nice to not want adventure all the time. :-)

I don't always want adventure, I lead a pretty boring life, mostly because of social avoidance.

I used to live in California. I was born there. I want to go back one day and see all the things I didn't get to see as a kid.

I read yours and thought,"D*mn, he has ambition and goals that i believe he will achieve!". To be so young and have so much u want to do that has *meaning* is too cool Matt! I wish i thought like that when i had opportunity to do so. Kids change EVERYTHING ; ). Go for it Matt! That sure is more adventure than i have ever done!

There would be an adventure for me too!...living out in the real world without my parents!

> Going to south africa, and the Amazon river to i want to do.

That sounds like great fun! I want to see the Amazon too. I still have to travel the world.

Wow, meeting Tito would certainly be an adventure! I bet he would be thrilled to see you.

The adventure I'm going to have soon is to go to the Babble Party. I hope I haven't scared Dr. Bob so much that he won't let me go. I've never travelled by myself before! Sleeping in a hotel will be an adventure too! Maybe I'll go to Wonderland and ride the roller-coasters.
