Anyone understand the 4400?

Am I out of luck since I missed the miniseries?

I haven't watched it consistently enough to really get the point of it.
Just like I missed too many episodes of "Lost". If something isn't broadcast before 9pm, it is hit or miss for me.
I get too impatient with commercial breaks on TV to like most shows! Once the remote control comes out, we often don't get back to the original program.
Grumble.

One word...TIVO! That solved my problem. I'm just like you and have no patience for commercials. I would always channel surf and then never get back to my original show. Then I got my Tivo with DirecTV and I can now record one show while watching another, record two shows while watching a show I had previosly recorded, or switch back and forth between two shows and not miss a thing with either. And with season passes, I never miss a show anymore. I'm telling you, it has completely changed my tv watching habits. I'm at the point now where I don't know how I lived without Tivo. :-P

Three cheers for Tivo

My favorite shows usually come on in the middle of the night or the middle of the day. But with Tivo, I never miss Quantum Leap or Hogan's Heroes.

I thought it was a silly gadget until I realized it could search out every show with Bob Crane or any other actor on it.

Ok, I'm a TV addict and I admit it.

Trouble is that I don't hear about these newer shows until they've been on for a while. Monk is pretty much the only one I've seen from the beginning.
