What is your operating system? Windows? If so, I copy pics from a disk to my hard drive via Windows Explorer. I'll give you complete instructions after you confirm you have Windows.

OK,
Moving here from Admin.
To save onto your computer, the easiest way is put your CD in your computer. Open the picture you want to save, and then using the programme it has opened in, do "File" "Save As" and then select somewhere on your "C" drive to save them.
When you do save as, there will be a little drop down box where you can select which "drive" you want to save them to (your computer has its own drive, generally called C Drive, your CD will be another drive, often called D Drive).
I find the easiest place to store things is an area called "Desk Top". Your desk top is the bit behind all the windows you open, where your wall paper is displayed, and what shows when you have no programmes running.
So, go to your desk top, and right click on it. Select "New" and then "Folder". This will put a folder on your desktop. If you right click on that, and choose "rename" you can then call it "Photos", or wat ever other name you fancy.
When you then do your "save as", in the drop down bit I talked about, look for "desktop", and then you will see your "photos" folder. Save your photos into this folder then they will be easy to find again!
I'll give you further instructions for getting them onto the internet in a little while! I'll let you digest that bit first!
(And if I have been WAY too basic, I@m sorry, but I always work this way, asits better than presuming knowledge)

Out if interest, do you have a yahoo account?
Its just they have a great photo album part, that you can use with your yahoo account (like yahoo groups where Babble Open is).. easiest way to get photos online

yes i have yahoo but i use hotmail...i'm actually about to try and set up my new pc(i'm using the one my lil brother BUILT himself-that gene skipped me :)) and i've never had a comp. B4 so i'm learning as i go. any input is GREATLY appreciated!!!Again..thanx

``From My computer icon,find your CD-ROM drive icon,go in it with a double click and u will see your files that u have on the disk.
Simply drag and drop them from there to a space on ur desktop,thats all!
You can either leave them there,or create a folder to put them in.
To get a picture on the internet,upload the picture either from the origanal cd-rom icon,or ur desktop IF you moved them.Any sites that have your pictures,cut and paste the link if you want to show them,for example showing them here.
If doesent make sense read it over a few times and do each step EXACTLY like it says,its one of those things that are childs play too show in person,but kinda difficult to walk someone through.
