Mine is to leave this world as a nobody---and of course being trapped in a burning house.

This time I'll pick something more outside myself and say:
Tornadoes-and this is really strange because they just don't seem to happen where I live, but I have this tendency to believe they are out there forming especially at night, and they are just going to rip up everything. It's awful!

My biggest fear is that I will somehow dissapoint God with my life. That I will somehow miss some of the great things He had planned for me.
I'd hate to get to heaven and see what I could've been down here on earth.

That I'll never become more at ease with living.

I try not to dwell on fears these days, but it is an interesting topic. I used to, and still do a little, have a fear of tsunamis. The power of the ocean to swallow you up is pretty horifying. No one could help you against such a powerful force. Somehow it's always seemed like the lonliest death a person could experience.
I also fear being trapped. I'm not claustrophobic. I don't get panicked in elevators, but if I felt I might get trapped in the elevator, that would be different. If I'm in a crowd, and I am surrounded by people and I can't get by, my heart immediately starts to race, and I get frantic.
I also fear being in an emotionally abusive relationship and being unable to get out. I grew up that way which might have led to my fear of being trapped. As a child, I felt very trapped.

I am afraid of spiders, but what I fear most is failure.

Wildcard,
I am so, so sorry to hear you're in an abusive relationship. It's so draining and difficult. Tell me you have some plans to get out of it. You don't deserve it.
