Had the final interview for a job I was certain was mine..
the interview went badly.. They were running late so I spent 30 minutes with the candidate following me..
She was 20, blonde, thin etc etc.. and spent 30 minutes telling me how much relevant experience she had, how wonderful she was, blah blah blah.. By the time I went through to be interviewed she had brutally murdered any confidence I had left in me.. And I ended up performing really badly..
*sighing*
Just got to really really keep my fingers crossed tightly now.. very very tightly..
I wish I could have a second go at it, as I've remembered all the things I should have said.
Ho hum..

just remember that often others see in us what we don't see in ourselves.
Perhaps you'll get a second interview, during which you can wow them!!!
Keep your chin up. You will have other, better, interviews!

i've had that happen too and it sucks but the more you torture yourself, the worse it gets. easier said than done huh? look at it like this, when 1 door closes it's only b/c another one opens(do i sound like a book? i should) *smile*-even a little. and so she was thin and blonde-maybe the boss likes a good thick piece of filet mignon any day over a slimjim...(referring to myself there :)) let us know and ALWAYS-chin up!
This is the end of the thread.
