I think it is a comforting picture. It's like he's saying, "All is well in the world."
Heehee, I think we should do an experiment to see if there is any correlation between Dr. Bob's pictures and the ratio of positive to negative posts here. Just kidding...wouldn't really do an experiment here. :-)

I think it's the best picture of Dr. Bob I've ever seen. It's so natural and real. Very authentic and friendly. Good shot!

I wear sunglasses a lot because I get migraines sometimes from too bright sunlight. But my mother always said, Never trust anyone who wears sunglasses when the sun isn't shining. They're trying to hide something.
Brilliant,eh? She also used to always say, You can never trust a woman--just look what Eve did to the human race. So I wouldn't bank too much on her opinions.
Sunglasses are cool. All the aging rock stars wear them. In fact rock stars in general wear sunglasses more than most. For example, I saw footage the other day of a U2 guy at night in an airport with sunglasses on. Maybe he gets migraines too. Or maybe he's hiding something--like bags under his eyes. Or worse, oh no!! Maybe his eyes are red---from lack of sleep!!!! You can never trust rock stars. Or would-be rock stars. Or anybody.
ANyway, I think Dr Bob's photos are weirdly comforting, somehow calming, reassuring. I have no idea why, and feel silly saying it, but I do really think he gives good photo.
