I wish you all could have been on the tour with us. The Chicago riverfront is lovely and filled with fascinating architecture.
Dr. Bob has managed to capture so many really cool elements from what we saw. It gives a new perspective. I'm glad he is sharing it with everyone.

I wish I could have been there too. I've always wanted to go to Chicago. And I would have liked to meet some fellow-babblers.

Me too! I like today's so much. I love the chaotic shapes reflected in the perfect squares. Is it a building covered with scaffolding? The colours remind me of stained glass windows in churches. There's something reminiscent of the Tower of Babel, to me at least.

Actually, it's the reflection of another building on a glass-walled building. I think the glass was beveled a bit to distort the reflections the way that a reflection on water would be slightly distorted.
I think that's what the docent said, anyway. :)

Sorry... I wasn't very clear in my question. I guessed that it was a reflection in a glass-walled building. I just wondered what all the detail was and thought it might be scaffolding, but I guess distortion accounts for it. It's beautiful, anyway!

I think the building being reflected is one of the weird Pod buildings that are supposed to be a city within a building...I forget the name. But remember the picture that looked like an ant farm or honey comb or something else weird? Kind of rounded layers? I think it's that building. (not one of my faves)gg
