Sometimes when I'm sweeping my kitchen, if nobody is looking, I don't even use the dust pan, I sweep the stuff right under neath the refridgerator.*snicker*

If I know someone is coming over I pick up my piles of papers and junk and hide them in a closet.
Which would be ok if they ever came back out of the closet.

Also, sometimes if I drop a piece of ice on the floor, I don't even bend over to pick it up. I just kick it across the floor and act like I didn't see a thing.Then later, when my husband steps in a tiny puddle of water and says, " what was that?" I just look at him so innocently and say, " hmm.. I wonder?"

I play ice soccer too. It's strange. It's like the ice can stay on the floor but you get to say where. : )

I have another theory. We kick the ice because, in our minds, we think well, if I kick the cube - friction will burn off some of the volume of water. Therefore the cube - upon reaching it's destination, will leave a smaller puddle.
