Survey : What era did you like Tom Cruise?

Posted by rjlockhart98 on June 29, 2005, at 21:46:14

1. 1983-1985
2. 1986 - 1989
3. 1989 - 1992
4. 1993-1994
5 1995-1998
6. 1999-2001
7 2002 - now

My review:

1. Tom was simple

2. Increased Ego, attracted attention, more revealed in personality.

3. Tom seemed stable, married to nicole, making 'Few Good Men'. Which made him a international star.

4. Started getting reports being envolved in Scientology, movies where still good, the firm, the interview with the vampire. Still Good rep.

5. Ego boost again with Mission Impossible, in alot of mags. His image changed more again to sex icon.

6. Huge climax of career with Eyes Wide shut, and Vanilla Sky, Mission Impossible II. Major Sex Icon. He was everywhere, if i saw another mag of him i was going to vomit.

7. Began becoming offensive to psychiatry and alot of other stuff, im sorry but he is losing his climax.

What do you think.

I loved him in that movie where he played that self-effacing middle-aged guy with a plain appearance who is riddled with self-doubt and regret and who struggles to remain stable despite his chronic mental illness but who still is kind to others including depressed women... Oh wait, that must have been some other movie. Never mind.
