In the place where my husband comes from, Sunday is considered holy. There are many things people don't do on Sundays because these things are considered inappropriate. People don't:
mow the lawn
do laundry
watch TV
wash their cars
go shopping
play sport
go out to restaurants/bars/whatever
And other stuff like that. Children aren't allowed to play in parks. People spend the day with their families (after church) or they visit friends. Reading (the Bible) is allowed!

It's quite different from what I'm used to!

Yeah, Sunday can be very boring. What things do people do in your town on Sundays?
