I play the piano. What kind of music do you want to play? I've got come Chopin here, but I don't think that'll work... Maybe some blues?

We have a trumpet, piano, basson, guitar, and AdaGrace can play the comb with her nose (gross, we could put her in the back with a microphone, lol) Oh my, we would have an orginal sound! I think we need an arranger to write some music for us. Any out there?

Well..... after 10 years of private lessons and 8 semesters of music theory...I could possibly come up with somethin....maybe a classical, jazz, rockabilly, bluegrass, big band acid rock sorta thang....with lots a tritonal nose comb solos (and plenty of kleenex)...but we need some drums. Where's Phil?

Yes, we definitely need some percussion.

I propose we start with the theme from the Muppet Show to get us warmed up...

I was a music performance and music ed. major in college but I didn't like therory much! lol I had years of private lessons, in fact I was teaching in high school. But today I started taking lessons again after 15 years. I am leaving in a couple of minutes! Wish me luck!

a transition into the theme from Rocky and Bullwinkle or a punk version of Green Acres. The Flinstones is another catchy theme...especially with a nose comb solo. It might be nifty if it was a bit more free form and we could each pick a song and play them simultaneoulsly...kind of a polytonal polyrhythmic train wreck....maybe not....orrrr...blues in G. 1..2..1..2..3..4 (shuffle)

Good luck.. ya still got any lip left? Brass and reeds (especially double reeds) I think are some of the toughest instruments to play. Plus you need a great ear and good chart skills. I really enjoy music theory...but I'm pretty much a geek!

I played the tenor sax for a while in high school. A little while. I should emphasise that. Actually... I played for a couple years but I was particularly appalling at it.

I could play the theme song from LA law...
And one Brian Adams song...
And could play along with the symphonic orchestra
(everyone was appalling except for one flute and one trumpet)
But they gave me the easy part...

I got to be the drone in a whiter shade of pale...

Thats not much use really, is it?

LOL!!! I know the jokes, but you know trumpet players get it worse! Especially when it comes to tongueing, double tongueing, triple tongueing, flutter tone, hot lips, and buzzing! lol
Who knew that all those hours of practicing would benefit my love making! lol :)

Yes, it is a great album! But I have to admit I am in the closet in real life about liking Michael Jackson. He is a freaky, but his music is great. But come to think about it, most musician are a little weird. lol
