stand back.... I did something wild and exciting

Posted by Spriggy on June 12, 2005, at 11:58:11

I went out on a limb today and did something a little spontanous and exciting.

Don't be alarmed.

Instead of my usual fat free yogurt with flax seeds for breakfast....

Get this....

I had Cocoa puffs.

Yep, I got a little wild streak in me today.

Watch out.

Hi Spriggy,

I hope I won't be PBCd, but does this mean you went *cuckoo* for cocoa puffs?

ooohhh...sounds so tasty! When I'm being "good" I have oatmeal with flax sead. But lately I've been "tasty" (instead of "bad") and have been having waffles with Nutella, which is my all-time favorite spread.

Congrats on having a wild & crazy breakfast. And I love Poet's comment about Cukoo! I used to see that commercial ALL the time when I was a kid watching commercials! It brings back fond memories. Do they still have that commercial???

spriggy, you little dickens. I am glad to see someone other than myself is holding up their end of the sugar train.

Oprah had these doctors on her show a while back that wrote that new book "you" i think it's called, on taking care of your body nutritionally, etc. Oprah repeated over and over how much she loves steel cut oats and how she eats this oatmeal alot. Of course the next time i was at the grocery (sprouts) i looked for it. I found a big bin of steel cut oats which was empty due to her show (natch). The man filled it up before i left so i was able to try it and it is good if you like oatmeal. Plus, if you can buy it out of a bulk container it's like 49 cents for a pound which goes a loooong way.
