Another day, another problem

Posted by tampagirl70 on May 11, 2005, at 7:53:56

Yesterday I was overcome with depression. Today its anxiety. I don't know which is worse. I took some klonopin and it makes me sleepy, so trying to do work is going to be a challenge today. My hubby's going out of town tonight til Sunday night. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I'm looking at everything in my life to see what caused this relapse, but nothing is standing out. The only connection I can make is that I stopped taking risperdal and I started feeling down. I don't want to go on like this.

Depression and anxiety so often come to us hand in hand. Klonopin made me sleepy too, and so I tried chopping it up into smaller doses and spacing those out throughout the day. That might help you (and it sounds like many others use it this way, at least from what I've read here). I did end up going back to Xanax to help with the anxiety, though.
good luck, tampagirl.

Its possible its risperidal?? Could you go on it again to see how you feel?
Depression and anxiety are so awful and I think they often hit for no reason at all. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Hang in there

my pdoc put me on anafranil since its a proven OCD med. i hate all the waiting - wait to see if it works, wait to see how you feel, wait, wait, wait. he also upped my celexa to 80mg, but he said that could take a couple weeks as well.
