wanted.....dead or aliiiiiiiiive...

Posted by alesta on May 10, 2005, at 12:44:49

my mom revealed to me today that the military has been looking for me while i lived at my ex's, but she didn't want to tell me before. i was in the army reserve. my enlistment period ended almost 4 years ago! but they are extending them now, thanks to bush (to supply more troops for iraq). which i think kinda sucks. i mean, you sign a contract saying that you have an 8-year enlistment, and then the gov't just goes ahead and breaks that contract like it's no biggie. it feels crap**y when it happens to you...

my mom lied and told the military personnel that she didn't know where i was, and she doesn't plan on telling them. so..i am a wanted woman.:) i am in awe of this fact. hey, i fulfilled my end of the contract. they can look all they freaking want. :)

Man, such a cool country...best known for our 'herbal remedies', and we just don't decide to go and invade a country because we feel like it. C'mon up North...the water, air are clean...and you can see forever on a clear night. Oh no...I am going to break out into it!!!..aaahhh "Oh Can-a-da...Our Home And Native Land...".

I am the non-official ambassador of Canada to the world. I once sang with Bobby Gimby. (Hint: the Pied Piper of Canada) "One, little two, little, 3 Canadians, We-e-e-e-e love you...."
NOW we'll see how Canadian you are.
Er, or how old, rather. It was a 1967 thing, ya see.

Well...oyyyyy....ya got me there. See, about 2 years beyond...3 days before Xmas, 1969. I remember when I first went to college, I had a crush on this gal, and found out we where both born in the same hospital, same year, same date, around the same time.I thought that mean't she HAD to go out with me.....tough luck...heheee. Sometimes, if I try really hard, I can put my mind in the same space it was 20 or so years ago...but my earliest memory is waking up in the middle of the night in my crib...and I musta made a lot of noise, and I did it again and again..heh. Oh ya, at the hospital, just after I was born, the nurses put a big red ribbon on my butt for Xmas, as I had to stay awhile because I was a "pre-me". Why am I going through all of this...I dunno...maybe I just want to be a little kid again...heh.

Oh, yes, and in order for you to be Certified Canuckian, do you have Bob and Doug McKenzie's "Great White North" album memorized side to side??When is the last year the Leaf's won the Cup?? Who is the coolest "Hip" Canuckian band? Who is the most succesful Canuckian rock trio? Yes, I am a true Hoser, of alllll Hosers.

So, like, fire up the Coleman, put on your Toque, and let's "Take Off To The Great White North...yaddada.."

Jay "McKenzie"

I live where the last Stanley Cup was awarded. Go Lightning!
Geddy Lee Rules.
OK, and RUSH.
And Kim Mitchell.
and Max Webster.
and Santers
and Honeymoon Suite.
I feel pretty Canadian (and nostalgic at the moment).
I'll get over it soon.
And go quiet.

> Oh, yes, and in order for you to be Certified Canuckian,

Canuckian? Canuck, dude.

> do you have Bob and Doug McKenzie's "Great White North" album memorized side to side??

Five Golden Toques!
Four pounds of back bacon
Three French toast
Two turtle-necks
And a beer, in a tree.

Nobody understands a word of this, I bet. Beer Hunter would be over their heads.

> When is the last year the Leaf's won the Cup??

1967. Seventh game, against Montreal.

> Who is the coolest "Hip" Canuckian band?

It would be Tragic.

> Who is the most succesful Canuckian rock trio?

I'll Rush you the answer. I saw them open for Nazareth. I can pick my voice out of the crowd on the "All the World's a Stage" live show at Massey Hall.

> Yes, I am a true Hoser, of alllll Hosers.

You got competition, Hosehead.
