Do you like pudding?

Posted by Angela2 on March 9, 2005, at 14:50:17

I feel like crap. I just skipped class today because I didn't do the reading. Now I feel bad that I skipped class because our grade is partially dependent on our being in class. I am so lazy. I feel really bad about it. It's embarrassing. I have a reputation in my family for being a lazy person and It's embarrassing. It's mostly just my mom and dad, but my older brother says stuff to me about it like, "you aren't worthy until you get a job." Ugh. It's just so hard for me. Bleh. OK, take it slow. One day at a time.

Nothing like being around folks that can't say anything nice, is there.

There are people these days that might call me lazy, but fact is I just feel unfocused and unmotivated. Luckily I know this isn't my 'normal' self.

I bet it's not your normal self either.

But next time - you can probably get by in class by doing a scan of the material first. And don't forget there will be a whole lot of other people in there that didn't read it either.

And you can always fall back on 'I tried to read it, but I didn't understand it. Could you please explain it to me?'

I'm confused about the subject line of your post...

Thanks for the support Auntie Mel:) Posting here is helpful. I can't wait until this class is over. 1.5 more months...

I am on spring break right now. I go back to class on Monday. I still have lots of work to get done this week before school starts. I am planning to get the reading done for my religion class for Monday. But it is possible I will back out of it this weekend. Hopefully I will do what's best for myself.

How did the reading go?

And if you didn't finish it, did you at least go to class anyway?
