Thought it was interesting. How come I just signed on with an enviornmentally friendly company for my supplements named Melaleuca, for a mere $39 . I get all money back if I'm not satisfied in 90 days. No pressure to sell, etc. Just use the products at reduced price. Well, I want to know why the pharmacetical companies don't do the same. How many times have you paid enormous amts of money for a drug only to find out you can't take it. Then you have to replace it with something else. For instance I paid $l38 today to get 90 Brand name Valium because the pdoc wanted me to use them instead of generic partly because of what I learned on this Board. The insurance co. doesn't care what she wants either. What do you think of this? Fondly, Phillipa

Most people can't be bothered requesting a refund...

Some drug companies do give samples to clinicians. I have been given quite a few samples from doctors. Both for general and mental health medications. My first week of prozac was a free sample.

Hmm. Was it worth it?
I had to choose between brand name imovane (at $10.00 per week) and subsidised zo-tab (at a subsidised $3.00 per month). I went with the latter. I had a bit of a nasty taste in my mouth in the mornings - but how much was it worth to me???

Yes, I do have to call around to other pharmacies and find the best deal. I also wonder about the Internet Rx. As far as the insurance co is concerned they gave me a little off of the price but not the usual 50%. My son says even the military Rx will no longer allow his wife to have Brand name, and they had always allowed it. If I lived in the UK it wouldn't cost anything! Fondly, Phillipa
