I am so confused...

Posted by Toph on February 14, 2005, at 10:31:30

I thought you might be interested in an e-mail I sent to everyone in my office:
------
After nearly 25 years of Social Work working with predominately women and living with 3 females, I have begun to get closer to my feminine side. I think that I scratch, spit, and swear less (OK, so I spit less) and I have actually been seen putting the remote down (if only to pick up my beer). Seriously, recently I purchased vanilla and cinnamon from Tina, I enjoyed watching "Mean Girls" more than "Master and Commander," I actually noticed Becky's highlights, I baked over the weekend, .and I purchased two Hummels off of eBay. When UPS arrived with my purchase, I ran to the truck. Unfortunately, my neighbor, Bob, noticed the small box and asked what I was so excited about. I stammered, "Oh, it's just a signed Sammy Sosa ball." Since joining the unit, Jeff has been attempting to school me in remedial maleness, but I'm afraid the damage is done. Why this morning I cracked J*** up when I asked looking in the mirror, "Do you think this makes me look fat?" I won't even mention the sampler I cross-stitched for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary.

Anyway, I baked some Valentine's cookies for you guys (I wish), so come and have one, they're devine, er, really awesome.

You go girl! Err...I mean, YEAH (followed by some sort of guttural dog barking noises). Way to go, dude!

Thanks for the smile this Valentine's morning! Wish you were in my office :).

Laurie

P.S. Have you seen "The Wedding Date", yet ;)?

funny that you should mention finding your inner female...

My family and people that I've know since I was nine all think that I'm a lesbian now, just because I stick up for myself and don't allow anyone to treat me like a doormat. What predujiced a**holes, eh??

Too bad we are so pigeon-holed. In my opinion, Toph, we have just become a little better at being human.

You're a riot. Nothing wrong with being in touch with your feminine side. Hey, anyway it's in your best interest to acquire this trait now before we women take over the world :-) Now, when you start developing an obsession for shoes, having cramps and PMS or wearing and parading around in your wife's undergarments (sorry if that was crude), then perhaps confusion has set in :-)

Be cool sister!

you owe me a new keyboard!!!!!!!!

When I got to " I noticed Becky's highlights" I sprayed diet coke all over my keyboard ( I was reading this during lunch)

That was worth coming into work today!

I'm getting alot of grief in response to my e-mail from the wise@ss women at work, too. But thanks for the support girls. I now feel secure to return to my man self. If only I could get rid of these man-breasts!

there's this old exercise all small-breasted girls in the late 70's-early 80's used to do that might help you....

The theory in women is that increasing the size of our pectoral muscles will make the hormonal breasts stick out more. For men, it should just act as a pec muscle exercise and burn fat (man breasts)..

Place hands together at palms (like praying, but at chest level) and push them towards each other, slowly and purposefully (isolating the muscles), release. Many, many reps....

Apparently this really only works in man breast reduction because I am still small-breasted after spending three+ years doing numerous repititions daily....(!)

Good luck !
