Its my birthday! i feel old, but in a good way. i feel like things have finally turned around a bit and everything will work out. i found a T who will work with me finiancially. I had this sudden impulse yesterday to get my violin fixed and to start playing again. it has been 5 years since i played in the high school orchestra, and i want to take lessons again. i have had the violin since i was in fifth grade. it really means a lot to be, actually.
i also want to take photography classes--i have a nice camera that i don't use. all in all i am feeling very creative today. i will have a nice dinner tonight with my boyfriend. things are good!

Happy, Happy, Happy birthday (and many more). Hope the year ahead brings you happiness and an abundance of creativity and good times. Let the creativity flow!
I took a photography class years ago. A friend of mine was a photographer and taught photography class on the side, so I took his class. It was great, and such fun to trapse around the city with camera in hand catching those moments unaffected by pretence and posturing as well as and the beauty and wonder around us. Just a nice way to spend a day (at least for me).

...don't want any unpleasantness on your birthday...;-) Well, I can sing a little, but still...
Hope your day was great. My daughter's birthday is in a couple weeks and she will be 23. There are several posters around your age, I've noticed, and I'm more and more drawn to them. Maybe helps me miss her a tad less, or, maybe you all remind me of the best in her and that makes me smile. (Extra, surrogate moms can be a good thing....)
Love the violin and photography ideas! A neat thing about music or anything creative, is that these things can sustain us and take us away to beautiful places during bad times, if necessary. More tools in the tool box, right?
Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! (spoken, not sung)
This is the end of the thread.
