Firefox web browser

Posted by ron1953 on February 1, 2005, at 17:18:49

After reading so many good things about Firefox, and having Internet Explorer hijacked too many times, I just installed it. So far, so good. Anybody using it? I'll keep you posted. It's available at www.mozilla.org

Glad you are having good luck. I could not make it work with Babble, as it never updated the new posts. I'm not sure why. I think nikki or somebody also had that problem, and I don't know how it got solved. I also can't seem to be logged into two different yahoo ID's with it at the same time, as it switches windows around between the two...like it only can handle one ID. With netscape, I can have both yahoo emails open and active.

Occasionally it is slow to load, too. But otherwise, lol, it's good.

Sorry to be such a complainer.

gg:

Complainer???? Thanks for the heads-up on possible problems; I'll watch out for them. As you can see, my posts are posting. I'm a die-hard Outlook user, so I don't have to worry about Yahoo or other email programs. Firefox seems OK so far but it's only been an hour. I agree that Netscape is a good product; just wanted to try the "latest & greatest" ....... and not be an Internet Explorer target.

But, very annoyingly Ihave to keep use IE| for PB, as it doesn't update the cookie for PB.. So it never clears "new" markers..

Tres annoying.. but its OK
